Look at the End of Year statements, the 10-Q's and 10-K's, watch out for management changes, look at the future outlook statements, find out if there are any new legislation that might be pending (and there are, especially for Health Insurance Stocks these days), etc.I've done all of this before when I invested in Stocks.
