@Chauncey GlennI have many clients that live out of state and out of country. They find a good agent, virtually tour the homes or FaceTime with the agent on site, run their numbers and make an offer. They then hire a Property Management company who provides them a virtual owner portal and they manage their property virtually. Some investors will fly in for closing and a final walk though but, if they are out of state they either Uber or rent a car.In your situation you would Uber to the property, Uber back to hotel and walk to dinner.I don’t think owning a car is at all necessary for investing.
