Prior to the sale I walked some streets and searched the deeds of the properties I liked.

I look at the MLS daily and I know instantly whether I am interested in a property or not when it comes on the market.A couple years ago I didn't put much effort or weight into searching for off market deals but the last two properties I have purchase were off market deals.

Hi @Mason Moran.Welcome to BP.In the BP search, you can place the word Wholesaling and filter by Virginia.

Then you also have the reverse situation... sometimes you have generic questions posted in the local forums (perhaps never to be found).This would fix both of those issues and might also identify right away what really is a jurisdictional issue.Just a thought.

Maybe widen your search area, or look for a tri or quad-plex?
