I had no interest in going into multifamily, so if that's your thing, your experience may be different.

Really creepy and unfair for the actual tenants in those units who had no connection what-so-ever to the offenders.

There had been a small mistake made (it was a different time back then proper protection and operating of your LLC wasn't as crazy as it is now) and because of that they had to settle out of court.So for them it didn't work, however on the flipside of that had the LLC been properly maintained without any co mingling then yes the LLC would have held up to the judge and the judge would have dismissed the case, as the LLC had no assets to sue.

The previous owner of my building had no mortgage and still never managed to make a profit.
