Right now I think I will hold off in Columbus area and try to focus on Northern OH.

Note buyer can literally decide in a few minutes if they want a note or note.. and the notes are constant they are always in inventory .. no hunting and needing deep contacts like the secondary market. for NPN or big note tapes.. that get sliced and diced.So once you figure out what space you want to go in.. then you can narrow down your focus..

Investors need to focus on the big picture.

Currently, I am more focused on gaining knowledge and experience, so I will be better prepared to dive into real estate once I graduate from my undergraduate.

For this first one focus on learning as much as possible about your market and gaining some valuable contacts, rather on how much you make.

The area I am looking in has bungalows built in the 1920s, which has led me to focus on the condition of the foundation as the biggest type of expense. 

When problems came up, the focus was on correcting the issues in the short time frame, while other issues were ignored.

By focusing a list, you can cut way back on who you mail to and save on postage and printing.San Diego is very competitive for real estate.
