I enjoyed  reading your post and got out of it what I wanted to hear!

My wife and I love the Bigger Pockets forums and have enjoyed three of Brandon Turner’s books – although we are not finished just yet.

I enjoy engaging and observing the pride carried by homeowners, investors and developers.  

If the rent is below market rates already, or the tenants enjoy where they live, you may just be stuck with it until next year. 

Instead, I enjoy staying in and reading books about successful people and taking their best attributes and trying to implement them into my life.

Places that should be a bit "safer" and prices are lower, but still in an area where people want to live and not have a long commute to the nearest big city.No matter which way you go, as long as you buy right on your first one, that one will set you up to be able to get your next, then the next, and then it may be self-sustaining so that the cash flows from them can quickly accumulate to keep buying more until you have enough to "retire" and spend your time doing the things you enjoy.

I am pretty sure I have already enjoyed those first 2 podcasts.

As for that threat of a law suit, I would throw it right back at them and mention that they failed to disclose an environmental hazard that they either knew about or should have known about, and I am sure that my lawyer will consider this little oversight an attempt to defraud me, and I will happy enjoy that court fight. 

i pick up the passion of real estate since 4month now have surf on the net at least 20h a month and readed only 6book since... anyway i juste finish  the book: leverage your financial intelligence by Dough lennick ( enjoyable book for a ethic perspertive) now that am a the the 6th chapter of the book of bigger pocket (the book on rental property investing) i slowly start to anylize info more deeply but am still extremly suprise of my market in Montreal  how every thing is differents bc the inflation.
