We made out barely ahead!

It has a MIL unit down in the lower quarter we barely see with separate parking and separate yard.With rent enough to always cover maintenance, cap ex, insurance and taxes, I would consider this primary res an 'asset', especially when paid off.

We've taken our kids to Branson many times, and I used to live 30 minutes away, and we've barely touched the surface of things to do. 

The warehouses are contributing to a lot of growth for the county, so much the county can barely keep pace.

In this market people seem to either do bare minimum improvements and operate homes at the lower end of the rental market or they do a complete remodel where they open up the floor plan and upgrade everything to sell. 

they think that because THEY lived in the house it's worth more than what the market will bare.  

At a bare minimum, you better have a mechanic you trust who can vet them for you.

Barely any friends or family during that time.....

My wife would have us in a big fancy house that we can barely afford (and definitely couldn't get ahead with) if it were up to her.
