I come from a background of investors (my dad and uncles) which spark something in my to get my feet wet into investing.

I'm assuming letting them source the materials just adds to their mark up and cuts into my profits but in all honesty I'm thinking that might be worth it at least until I get my feet wet and learn for the future. 3.

You really don't want water backing up ruining floors, paint, potentially wetting the subfloor creating mold and a potentially even bigger problem.

Hey @Robert Crowley I know it's hard to want to jump right in and get your feet wet with a big deal, but perhaps you need to think way way smaller.

After the texture is done, use a dedicated drywall primer and two coats of semi-gloss paint, which is better for wet areas than eggshell.

I was in the middle of putting up the insulation when one of the tenants came by to pick something up, and she was angry that the driveway had puddles in it from the rain and my truck was parked in the least-wet spot.

Today at least in our little WET sand box banks simply wont let you get that far over your ski tips..

@Gavin Grady the west metro is not an easy place to get your feet wet, prices are high, property taxes are high, and there are a lot of people chasing the areas.
