I'm a junior in high school who plans on going to college(I have a shot at a substancial scholarship), and am interested in real estate and investment. What would be an effective degree?

I have a military retirement, VA disability, 20 rentals and participate in 20+ syndication deals. 

Read/participate in the forums here, read a lot of books, listen to the BP podcasts and others that you can find.

Rent it to visiting professors instead of students. 

This is called "material participation".

Next, the short-term rental can only be active if the owner puts in more hours than anyone else by materially participating in the management of the property.
