You really don't want to get involved in going against a protected senior citizen resident in a rent controlled unit.

Randy most counties and cities have laws against bandit signs.You are right in that most do not work on the weekends.You might be better off hiring someone to hold a sign for you as there might not be an ordinance against that yet.Example it might be illegal to put a sign in the ground for your area but not have someone hold a sign.I tried bandit signs years ago and it just didn't work great for me.You can out some high up on a telephone pole,etc. where they can't easily grab them.Usually a competitor or the neighborhood watch or a good citizen type will take them down.

I was working as a senior aeronautical engineer for one of the best companies in the nation, killer paycheck, working top secret cool projects most people will never know about....everything cool... and I was soooo bored.

The second thing I have been struggling with is trying to find any concrete information about traditional mortgages for foreign citizens who do not have a stable address.

Our senior closer is from Orlando, FL and brings with him 8+ years of experience in title work, mostly with investors.  

One thing for my clarification-- it sounds like you are not a U.S. citizen, correct?
