Hello fellow BP members,I manage a contracting company that employs a large number of carpenters (finish work, roofing, siding, demo), plumbers, HVAC, electricians, solar installers, masons, caretakers and property management, and more.

It doesn't matter if you're with a big or small company, investor focused or retail brokerage...your broker's reputation is on the line if you mess up, and if you've asked a question with no answer the disservice is to you AND the broker.

Basically the Plumber said the tile in the corners wasn’t installed correctly and is starting to drip out of the “pan” for the shower into the ceiling down below. 

I've talked to several property managers with good reputations. 

I had a reputable roofing company come out to inspect the roof and make an honest recommendation.

Mine can set door codes, message (or call) guests, schedule cleaners, adjust the thermostat, monitor my cameras, & call a plumber just as easily as a local PM can, for 1% of the cost3) Hire good cleaners, a solid handyman & befriend some helpful neighbors.

How do deal with that security issue aside from hiring a reputable cleaning company?

This is a practice by some less than reputable companies.
