If you're hoping to rent to students, I doubt they will want to pay the extra rent for it.

My name is Vuth and I'm a college undergraduate student attending Christian Brothers Univeristy studying business administration.

They're separate parcels, each priced at $139K, but the seller is selling them together for $278K.My wife is in grad school and we're considering this deal for the opportunity to move into one unit and slowly transition the other units into student housing for others in her program.  

Over the 5 years I have completely upgrade the house, which I rent half of to college students, have a quality appearance and be bulletproof. 

I am a 22 year old student and pretty much in the same situation as you.

I've thought quite a bit about college students, but not sure those homes are at my price points right now.

Ask realtors to run a CMA (Comparable Market Analysis) on a property you are interested in offering on and see how it looks (with a skeptical eye since they have a vested interest), most will do this for free if you're going to put your offer in through them.This is why I suggest getting out there, looking at a lot of homes, put in a lot of offers, and generally pay attention to what sells and for what price ... become a student of the market.

I'm currently a pharmacy student pursuing my MBA, but would like to learn more about investing in real estate to gain the confidence and ability to invest in properties once I graduate.
