If you just dropped $250K I'm guessing you upgraded the units significantly, so these might be in line with the overall picture.In my experience with tenants and people in general, electric heat has a stigma that it earned in the 90's when oil prices were super cheap.

I will work with landlords and house hackers, however, since most properties I find that dont work for my investment business can work great for them.Also, I now have many more tools in my toolbelt that other agents dont have, I have a crew that can do work, know a ton of contractors/trades and can get materials for pretty cheap.

The last thing that I will say is that like in any market there are some cheap properties in not so nice areas and very expensive ones in really nice areas.
