It's located in Caldwell, Idaho just blocks from the University of Idaho campus and downtown Caldwell.  

You can do that with blocking and pieces of 5/8 in. exterior plywood sheathing (and Super Patch over the seams).

Hi Paul,The Hells Angel's are one street over from there and also the reason for there not being alot of crime in that block so I wouldn't leave that out.

You kind of have to know the neighborhood for this one because a house can be only 2 blocks away but in a better school district or a different neighborhood.

Background:I just purchased a rental property 2 blocks from a university and notified the student tenants I was increase rent and making them pay utilities (driven by market comps) in the new lease.

After listening to the Rich Dad Poor Dad book yesterday, I now realize it is a Liability not an Asset - every year the house is draining cash through property taxes in addition to lost opportunity cost of the principle tied in the house.

There is a cinder block garage that I was going to use as my shop (im a plumbing contractor) and a 2 story house built in 1912 that i was hoping to lease out to a business.

If so, what kind of road blocks did you hit?
