Hi Shivani, I would suggest using a Hard Money lender for short-term financing and fix-up and then refinancing into a longer term loan (if you are holding).

On the eve of closing (last night), the escrow assistant informed us that we need to bring additional funds to closing due to two affidavits that need to be recorded in the loan package, for which the recording fees were not collected earlier.

Any suggestions on specific banks that may be more apt to work with me in achieving this?  

I thought I got everything I needed, only to find out I need to buy additional tax package in order to have them prep tax for me.
