I'm a city girl and I have to get it out of my head that just because I live in a city doesn't mean I need to buy a rental in the city....more of an internal struggle.

There I was in this dark, stinky, dirty basement excited about my new adventure and also internally paranoid that arachnids & their kin would be landing on my head at any minute.

We set goals beside every number we made like buying a retreat center for the ministry we run, providing monthly income for our parents, taking college students to international ministries we support to show them the world and its needs are much bigger than them (CAN I GET AN AMEN?!).

I think you would still have to sell the business at the value of the real estate, but by selling everything lump-sum (and without agents) to someone internally you would save a ton in transactions costs which in essence gives you a premium.

Also, my assumption is if you want to invest in the US from an international home base you have some $$$ saved because traditional loans are much tougher.

It's possible you could work part-time/intern in a real estate office or escrow company to learn about marketing or transactions and learn the ropes without having to put down cash for the courses & licensing.

So we see internal reports of where leads are coming from - sorry, not a public source.The funny thing about the Charlotte area is we've occasionally gotten waves of calls from out there from people who claimed they saw our TRUCKS or our BILLBOARDS etc etc and we didn't have anyone advertising in that market!
