Without going into any details, I suspect there is a reason the new buyer terminated most of Atlantic’s staff.

To successfully run a profitable management company you need to have at least 300 or 400 doors and a full staff.

I retained an attorney with 25 years in real estate law to be our broker of record, and I pay him a broker's cut.I get to tell clients that I have an attorney on staff, plus I get free legal advice.He gets the income, plus he gets most of our closing business.It's a win-win all around.

My preference is to find a property management company that have their own maintenance people on staff and specializes in a smaller area around LAX.
