If the market should fall out from under you then you'd likely be able to charge more for rents due to a myriad of factors that come into play when the housing market collapses.Again, not an expert, but I listen to them daily on the BP Podcast (https://www.biggerpockets.com/...).

I recommend setting up keyword alerts for each area as they are discussed in the forums daily with advertisements posted in the BiggerPockets marketplace hourly.One thing to note when looking at the individual markets, you can make or loose money in any market.

I get all the all the amenities of Tampa and Sarasota without the higher cost, higher property taxes, HOA fees or traffic for my daily getting around. 

As we have a team of contractors in every trade that we use, some daily, some weekly or monthly, they will all provide estimates and give us opinions for free. 

Doesn't leave any money for daily operation of the condo grounds.

He does have a daily maid come in and do the dishes, vacuum, etc. for 2 hours a day. 

Unless a good deal that works with our current situation comes along, I try to look daily.
