If you have the parking, I'd find one where you have a basement to finish off for an additional room...and rent the other bedrooms separately.

If #1 is a brick townhouse or single story style with a shingle roof in good condition (for example) then it might be a better buy than a painted wood, flat tar-roofed bldg with apartments that are over/under. or if one has separately metered everything, and the other doesn't.That sort of stuff can make a big difference that doesn't show up immediately in the math

Once both properties are paid off I can either get another loan using the equity from 110 or and 108 or get another VA loan move it the new home and pay it off via triple payments.Currently I hold $5,000 in a separate account to account for the unknowns.I feel that started off very slow compared to other stories on BP but I am thinking hoping that the snow ball effect will continue to grow.What are your thoughts?

., you have to count that as income, just like income from a job.So, separate from the 3x rent as income issue, can you also have a requirement that the prospective tenant must be employed or work in some way (self-employed, etc.)?

@Brennon Manske If you can find the person that holds the redemption rights, you can often purchase those separately.
