2. does the cliche "quality over quantity" apply in dm marketing?

It's a bad numeric use of points (typically under 2 cents per point), but it's hilarious fun to stay at these places to bookend vacations. 

Honestly, I would be more worried about having to take care of numerous properties out of state and the responsibility that comes along with that, then having a couple of properties here in Brooklyn breaking even.

As you can see on numerous forum posts here on BP, if you're situated in the right location, with good furnishings and good photos, you can make good money with short-term rentals.

Ive used numerous contractors from CL with good success. 

@Samantha Waters I would be worried about the quantity of occupants.

It’s a starter house And we live next to neighbors whose dogs jump the fence and have tried to attack me on numerous occasions.

Unlike dealing with a PM who runs numerous different properties and may not be able to give them specific answer.

In a hot market if I had numerous offers coming in on a house I would probably do the same.

About a month later after talking with about 6 general contractors, numerous subs, 4 architects, and a host of potential wholesale buyers I lined up contractors and decided to hire a GC to do/oversee most of the work and I would project manage/manage the GC.
