A year or so ago a kitchen in one of my rentals caught fire and spread soot all over the unit on exactly the same day as my tenant received the eviction notice.

You will repay the loan with after-tax money, so that 20-30% is really there as a cost, but just spread out over time.

The big question is, even if you COULD get the deal done in time, is the land worth enough for you to pay off the mortgage, pay off the back taxes and then still have enough of a spread to make it worth your while?

As I mentioned before, this stuff isn't much thicker than sheet vinyl, but it's much tougher.To clarify:  the product is vinyl planks and they are being stalled directly to the subfloor with full spread adhesive?
