I'm also new to the Series LLC, and keep coming across that most folks are not familiar with this format because it's not offered in all states, only about 16 states offer this format.I have a Series LLC in Ohio, and at one point started one in Alabama.

Because of the protections an LLC offers in this space, I'd simply say my non-expert opinion would be to spend a little extra to make a separate LLC for this new home, for the legal protections & to make your taxes less of a headache for you.

If you are going to invest remotely, I suggest narrowing down the regions/markets you are would like to invest in, then take each step of due diligence to figure out what that market offers, any downsides to not being local, etc.

Listing the properties as a portfolio should get you a sale of both together but if you get an offer on one ask the buyer to allow you to try individually marketing the other for 30 days.
