I have seen pumpkin sales, Christmas tree sales, fruit stand, boiled peanuts, eyeglasses stand, carpet truck sales, landscaping storage,etc.If you put temporary things on the land to offset taxes then make sure it is not things that could environmentally contaminate the land such as a used car lot etc.

@John P. this may be a very newbie statement but from looking at the pictures, and without doing a walk through yet, most everything looked to be up, i would have probably check more into the roof and change the cupboarding a bit, some fresh paint,and landscaping, what are you seeing?

If you spend a few bucks on landscaping, lighting, and other exterior/neighborhood-type improvements for each of the buildings, you'll raise the desirability of the area at least a bit.
