You can sometimes:a)  sell the land to a neighboring farmerb)  if close to a city, subdivide the land into acreages for people to buy and put a house onSo you might be able to save $50k on your house by selling the farmland for $100k and still get the farm life. 

Ideally I would try and maximize density but the city will only allow a SFR.

can someone help? Im trying to obtain a tax delinquent list for direct mail. I called the courthouse and they had no clue what I was talking about. can I get this info online in Jackson county

I am looking to venturing into purchasing a pre-foreclosure property in Philadelphia and I was advised to go to City Hall to find the Lis Pendens or Notice of Default (NOD) filings.

I also read posts by others online who said that this is very common in large cities like Austin/Houston and college towns and that they advise to just keep renting the room and not cause any disturbance and that it will be fine as long as the landlord gets paid the rent monthly.
