I attended myriad seminars/webinars, plunked down $$$ for some REI classes, attended a local REIA meeting (as a non-member), and kept my ears open to all of the info that was being shared... yikes!

I am going to refi anyway to remove the PMI and lock in a lower interest rate so I will most likely tap into the equity.

All,I have a subject to deal locked up and I'm trying to figure out the best way to fund the $20K rehab.I have an IRA that was rolled over from my previous employers 401K with a balance of about $17K.  

As I said, to my uneducated ears, it doesn't sound legit.

I plan to take this gentleman out to dinner soon to discuss the details even more but would like some advice on how to get this locked up in a contract of some type.

If not, can you switch into your name putting a lock on who has access and sit them off?

Within 2 weeks of the locks being changed the tenant filed suit ($10,000) against my parents in small claims court claiming that she was illegally locked out of her home and denied access to her medicine which caused pain and suffering.
