i briefly had a job with some investors. i was the bird dog but they also showed me how to look up basic info on a property. they problem is all i had to my disposal was google and the free info i was able to come across. this wasnt too helpful because the info i found was often outdated. the investors paid for a subscription to websites like property shark to get all the info they needed on a house.so my question is what are the websites/ resources you use to research a property?

An easy way to get some capital is start networking with other investors, seek to work for them in your spare time for free to learn from them, and bird dog deals to them to make some side profit.

So for this old dog my "good deal" looks different than it might for some fellow BPers. 

Having done the military move several times, I can tell you that not all spouses have the easiest time moving, getting the movers in and out, the dog, the cars, etc... 

If someone can bring me a truly off market, actual good deal I'd certainly entertain being a Co-GP but the split would be far less than 50/50 for simply being a bird dog.  

Then revisit your real estate portfolio and make the moves that enable it to take you where you want to be in life rather than letting the real estate tail wag the dog.

A duplex wont really do where we have 6 kids n a dog.

My wife is a trainer of dogs for various sports and working jobs, hence the rural property to have room to conduct her business.
