Pull credit..I spend time reviewing it to find out what's not paid and why not..mostly medical and school loan stuff will accept..utilities and lot of charge offs not paid is usually bad sign(recent)...this is totally subjective4.  

@Steve Babiak Thanks I had some idea there were panels and drop ceiling stuff we could install but it would likely  destroy the character of the apartment and I doubt the downstairs tenant would want it even if I offered to do it. 

I know I write about stuff with the hope to pay it forward so people won't make the same mistakes that i have.

You can put her on the deed and not have to put her name on anything at the bank...My wife is the type of wife that if Im buying properties without here involvement she is gonna think I may leave her one day and she is left with nothing...Some women just have this security thing, Im sure if she was the bread winner and didnt want you on any of her stuff it would make you have second thoughts about your relationship as well.A couple years ago I opened a business and when I went to get incorporated I wanted all the shares in my name....OMG I still hear about that crap...I guess it just comes down to the type of relationship you and her have, she may not care if you put her on it or not.

It vacate and try to get more time however  I went ahead had sheriff Evict her with my writ of possession they left a lot of stuff in house I got and trashed it out.

I'd vote forget all the complicated stuff and just buy a normal property that cash flows if you can find one.
