How often do investors invest in different countries all together? 

The whole country is in a strong sellers market

Before I go down that path I was wondering if any of you all have had experiences with variances and perhaps have some pitfalls to avoid or tips of how to make your case to the county on changing the zoning.Thanks in advance!

The specifics of the deal and the appetite of the municipality usually dictate which path is best.

Usually they are someone on the exact same path as you just further down it, dropping bread crumbs along the way.

It's now 7 years and we still have not built.Due to my wife's job, we don't want to move out to the country (her current 2 minute commute is hard to give up for an hour drive especially with current gas prices!)

I'm looking for a STR real estate agent who knows STR zoning, local STR regulations, and best the investment Markets.I'm open to invest anywhere in the country.

I am currently working out of the country and am looking to invest in short-term rentals. 

My issue is that my partner - a 4th year medical student - will be graduating next spring, and we could end up anywhere across the country based on how her residency interviews go.
