Filing extension requests are pretty normal but ultimately it's up to the seller.

Ultimately, when complaints are filed, either a court, local real estate commissions, NAR, HUD, etc have to interpret if it was a violation and take it from there.

I had to duke it out to get a refund and ultimately cancelled.
