We always check these records and sometimes find that an applicant has lost an L/T case and is about to be locked out.  

These would be S/T capital gains, you’ll have a hard time doing a legitimate 1031 exchange due to the short holding period, but if you don’t end up having much income for the year, above and beyond the 60k, your tax will likely be immaterial.
