If your local town has an Apartment Association I recommend joining as they will give you information on all things real estate.

You're in the best place to connect with people in and around your target market.I recommend 3 things:1. use the 'search' function to find topics, members and areas of interest .

I’d recommend connecting with other owners in the area (Facebook groups for great).

But for investment properties, I’d feel that would open us up to way too much liability that insurance likely wouldn’t have to cover if a tenant or guest was injured where a permit was required but not obtained.

I recommend looking into areas near economic bases - close to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio State Campus, New Albany, etc.
