Common in most places, side by side with a common wall, each owns the land underneath......referred to as townhouses, 1/2 duplexes, row houses, etc. depending on location.

This is because it was purchased to be a good home and not necessarily a good rental.If I were to invest OOS:I would not choose the highest cash flow Midwest locals but would look for a location with increasing population and constrained in some way in their RE growth prospects.

I'll have my wife "write" the letter as I think that will be better received, and specify that we're looking to move closer to a certain location, the school district, etc, as well as that we'd pay fair market value and can take on repairs, etc.Opinions?
