I live in California and sent out my contract to an agent on a great deal that his seller is interested in.

I wasn't aware that California had recovered to the point that someone could have that type of gain on a primary residence unless he bought it 20 years ago or at the bottom of the crash.

They used to do a lot of these assignments and double closings a few years back, although it has slowed down recently with the hot coastal CA market making it harder for wholesalers to find deals with enough spread to move it to the next guy. 

I and currently in Long Beach, CA  and in a few months l will be locating back to KC MO to live the rest of my years there with extended family.
