@Jonathan Aldis, that's the norm - to tack together the holding periods. 

We decided to keep the March bookings with the current PM but temporarily hold bookings for April.

Next, the statute says you have to own ALL of the tax lien certificates, but most experts agree you have to own all of them that qualify for the three year holding period.

I am mostly interested in buy and hold rental homes with maybe a flip mixed in there.
