You would need to have some type of refinance in place after 6-12 months....similar to Hard Money.But if you are analyzing a Line of Credit vs. 30 year fixed rate loan the comparison would really lie with if you are ok with an adjustable rate or not.So a 30 year fixed rate cash out loan will give you all of your money right now.

Implied in the story, my understanding is that all these players are using technology and a healthy dose of Silicon Valley Venture Capital to accomplish this.Essentially a homeowner enters some basic info about their house and I believe Zillow will make a fast cash offer on the house "as is".
