Some other pros would be weather, globally sought after, growing infrastructure across the state to accomodate high speed rail, space industry, we have several major airports, growing tech/medical industries as well as the ever growing theme park monsters that help to bring in about 70 million people a year here, we stay pretty purple with politics and very alternative lifestyle friendly, schools overall aren't great, but we do have some very good ones including prep schools/acadamy's. landlord friendly and so much more too!

Alternatively, if you're looking to qualify with alternative/no documentation, then a non QM/business purpose loan may be your best option.

Not sure those books will get into the TX specifics, like lock types required, how to handle a security deposit, safe harbor when charging late fees, required lease disclosures, etc.

If this trend continues you will see property values degrade eventually.I am not saying it is a sure thing, but I like to look at population trends in the specific areas I invest in to help determine whether to buy there.
