Spray painting will not look the same.However I do spray paint wood in various situations.If you make an attempt do as follows.Wipe down the cabinets with a wet drywall sanding block.Spray XIM primer from a can on everything and use bullseye primer over areas where the original paint may be missing.

If it's the entire floor, depending on the type of wood, it can be a project :) If it's a soft wood like pine... oy.

I suspect that the owner at the time took the insurance money, upgraded the interiors, plumbing, electric, installed new wood windows, and simply slapped a new roof over the charred structure.
