I already went trough the same situation and I learned from it, now besides other adjustments, my contract states that if contractor does not show up for x amount of days and its not responding to my text/email/phone calls, it will be considered that he abandoned the job.

The regs are quite specific and IMO it is unlikely a seller financing individual could properly notice and communicate with the borrower, provide the correct and timely statements, have the required toll free 800 phone line, etc.I'm not confused about the exemptions and am planning to use them.

There is a very low barrier to entry as a car dealer but there are requirements, lot, office, sign, phone that set financial barriers not to mention any inventory, but there is no knowledge requirement.Usually, the powers that be look to the opportunities to reach in people's pockets with fees and put those economic laws in place requiring education that sends folks off to pay more fees to a continuing education system.

I ordered their home study course the beginning of April and at the time of writing this (May 9th), I have still not received the course.After waiting 2 weeks for the material to come I finally contacted someone by phone over there and they said that they would send out another course to my address since I never received the first that was apparently sent.
