If it was my personal home, I'd have a curtain if there is a tub/shower combination, but a glass door if it is a stand alone shower.

I doubt you will make enough to make it worth the management fees and stress when you can make and take a tidy profit and invest that into multiple investment properties and use the VA loan to buy your personal residence where you are going.
