I’ve tried a few postings on craigslist and marketplace and got nowhere.

I love trawling through old mls stuff, market place, Facebook to find the one place I want and just texting or messaging the owner.

You can find gently used items on Facebook Marketplace all of the time.  

Now that the wholesaler thing has fallen thru, I'll be using a flat fee MLS service to list it... in addition to FB Marketplace & Craigslist. 

Zach, cash buyers do have a leg up in the marketplace. 

You'll pay a lot more than just piecemealing it on FB marketplace, but you either pay in time or money -- I usually pay money to save my time.

in our marketplace there're realtor offering flat rate service, if commision is higher then you will get rebate.you could also use seller agent as your buyer agent and split commision.
