Lessons learned?

Thankfully, we live nearby because that had a small learning curve, but now we can turn onto a street and almost know immediately.

When I went to clean the place after the previous tenant moved out, I learned real quick how bad it was.The worst part of it all was the stench.

Live and learn.  

Do you have any resources I can use to learn how to properly make a tax appeal claim?

Not only the management aspect they'd be providing but it would allow you an opportunity to "learn on the job" for when you plan on managing it yourself and also give you context for questions that you may have and someone to ask them to.

(Foremost will only cover up to 4 units and this is 6.)I've learned my lesson DO NOT buy properties that still use screw in fuses unless the deal is good enough to cover the cost to replace!

It was first property we rented , great experience and we are learning from this experience. not sure about the other property with $500 below market that one is off market from Zillow not sure if it is rented or sth else.
