Down the road I might get into multi family units or landlording multiple properties.

I've been patient for a few months now, working with a realtor to land a deal through what comes out of mls.

I'm a new landlord  and I'm about to  rent out my first Buy and Hold.  

Now converting to rental for a positive cash flow of $1500/mn, continuing to build portfolio, and developing land home sits on (zoned for 40 units).  

You can protect yourself by running tenant screening as well as ask references from last landlord.

I was convinced by my landlord/friend that buying and holding multi-family's was the way to go, but after reading books and listening to the BP podcast, I find myself open to some of the other real estate investing methods.

Of course if I subdivide it I would be able to take 20 feet of the edge of this land and set it aside for an easement for that piece of property.I don't want to keep this property anyway so hearing sell sell sell is music to my ears.
