I always question first time posters end their post by saying "I saw this company called "X"".

So what been happening: I have made it to the point of conversation with a couple of sellers at this moment. 1 seller offered seller financing, I think that one is in the bag. 1 other is the reason why I am making this post. seller asking 190k.

@Luke Cionci     This stands out from your initial post "Before he started the work, on multiple occasions I had requested proof of permits, the actual estimate, and at least something in writing.

Not quite a new member as I've been lurking these forums for years, finally deciding to get serious and figured doing the "New Member Introduction" post would be a good step.Briefly about me:  I'm currently working as a merchant mariner (3rd Mate) and I travel for work about half the year, looking to get into real estate investing to supplement my income and begin building a portfolio during the half of the year when I am home.
