I have developed an interest in building long-term wealth and passive income after I read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki since high school.Now, I am 20 years old and currently in I am in my third year of college.

You may already follow them but 'Our Rich Journey' on youtube shares a ton about moving to Portugal.

@Andy Sabisch, Adam hits on it, but also implies that you are even competing with someone that does any underwriting, let alone somewhat sophisticated underwriting.Look at these forums alone, then look at YouTube, all the gurus out there, etc talking about how the only way to get rich is through real estate, and how easy real estate is, etc.  

Whatever currency was to succeed the dollar, how would the general public go about daily trade for necessity such as housing, food, etc.?

Pick areas that have a lot to offer....great schools, great jobs,  high traffic, close to major players like Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Starbucks etc.

Cost of food, gas, and the like are up.

Food and labor costs are up and cycle is heading for a recession economically.

And if it is the choice between food for the kids and making the monthly payment for the couch they have financed, the children win every time.This is part of the one thing that concerns me the most about the future of our country, to the extend that I worry about society as we know it breaking apart: the wealth gap and the social tensions it creates.

A wise investor will not try to get rich quick with shortcuts.

This could include success stories of people and what they chose to do to give back, mentors helping newbies become successful, rags to riches stories, creating generational wealth through real estate with people who don't come from much.
