It is a bit more complicated, your market, the inventory available, the rent level and price level of the home, the perception of housing prices and duration of price changes.If you have tenants who are able to buy, they may as prices drop.

Imagine what it would take for 4 people to have the right chemistry to live together for an extended amount of time.  

@Shane Pearlman Here in Riverside County, there are  developments coming up everywhere and they are still extending out futher South towards San Diego.

The owner had no problem with extending our relationship for another 5 years as I paid him on time for 84 months.

I was mentioned in my posts and I would like to extend the same courtesy however I am not familiar with the process here.Lastly what are the votes about and what happens when you get them?

My main question is: Is it realistically possible to find homes that fit our criteria but also will remain on the market for an extended period of time?

Also, we are not penalized if the timeline gets extended (something to consider in historical design review).

Be sure you have gasoline and that your car can handle slow traffic for extended periods without overheating.In terms of looking for housing, there are also some nice Inglewood / Los Angeles neighborhoods just North of Manchester Ave., West of Van Ness, East of Crenshaw, extending into the 80s and 70s (85th St., 79th St., etc).

If I cannot find the tenant for an extended period of time I will contact those people.
