I have not been able to bring myself to be able to sell such a valuable asset though.  

I am more interested in liquidating this asset. 

@Deondre Blackshear - you want a company to sell you an asset at above fair-market value, make promises that they can't necessarily keep, and you also want them to be reputable?

"Core" stabilized assets are for investors with low risk profiles who want capital preservation and stable predictable cash flow with low risk (versus higher risk alternatives in stocks and bonds...or value add and real estate development).REITS, insurance companies, pension funds, family offices, very high net worth individuals/families who have already made their wealth, etc. 

I'm an asset/property manager in Richmond, VA.

And of course having to pay income tax drops my overall yield down a bit.Also, would a cabin property such as this able to be written off as depreciating asset?

The debtor and any assets he has is now in TN.

However, I now realize that these assets are not working for me. 

And we no longer go after those low dollar assets, though its a good way to start my note careear!
