1/2" drywall with plastic fixtures, particle board vanities and cabinets, and fha minimum grade throughout or 3/4" drywall, 10' ceilings, granite, wood tongue & groove cabinets, deep sinks, 9" faucets, smooth stucco, and full interior trim?

Getting your license is pretty easy and only costs a few hundred.

Of course you’ll need hundreds of thousands to do this.

Having a well within a few hundred feet of your home (I believe the setback from residential areas is 350 feet) would certainly limit the number of people willing to buy that property (it’s making you think twice, the next guy will have the same reservations) and could negatively effect resale value.

Worst case you spend a couple hundred bucks and realise people need more content when they find you.

. $150 will build a nice enough home with craploads of cheap painted moulding, granite, marble, nice enough cabinets and finishes.

I'm looking to invest a few hundreds maybe a 1000 here or 1000 there, and having a 8% and up return and not be hands on.

Should not cost you more than a few hundred dollars and will be well worth it.
