I would say that you're already on the right path to successfully starting your journey.

I've been on my wholesaling journey for about a month now but that is going a little different than expected and I need some stability NOW.

I have just started my NC pre-license course on my new journey to gaining my real estate license and becoming a Realtor in Charlotte NC.

I will be posting an updated version of this every month to keep you up to date on the journey.

Books are a FANTASTIC resource for us in our journey as they tend to crystalize decades-long learning journeys into a 10 hour read or less.I'd recommend Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover, David Green's Long Distance Real Estate Investing, and Robert Kiosaki's Cashflow Quadrants before you pay any professional to advise you.
