I have seen requests daily to show multi-family properties, and had to require prospective buyers to show real intent before disturbing tenants with showings.I have fix & fliped rental properties in metro Charlotte.

Once the option date expires it can be renewed (unusual, but it does happen) by he prospective buyer paying another option fee like the first one.Clear as mud, right?

Always do the analysis numbers and try to look at your prospect properties before you make an offer or at least have a clause in the sales contract (usually 15 days) to make an inspection and possibly back out of the deal without the penalty that exceeds your earnest money amount, if any.
