It really inspired me, (along with the Rich Dad, Poor Dad Real Estate Riches book), and then once I got my first real job out of school I was motivated to save and hunt for properties.

You will need to check and find out what all the costs to develop will be (plans, engineering, installation of utilities, school fees, permit fees, are there any other fees related to the project such as traffic impact fees, etc.?

I had that down, so the rest (appreciation, rents, etc.) would all magically fall into line. 

Some towns can justify the high taxes with good schools.

I don't think there are any magic bullets here.  

I am currently unemployed and considering going to school for radiologic technology (ie, x-ray technician).

Find ugly houses and flipPittsburgh is awesome market, get rental yields, great schools.

after 15yrs...and HUNDREDS of LO's...here are the numbers75%....reluctant sellers.....bought 2nd home.....don't want to rent...25% investors......don't want hassle...want US...to Sell contract...Look for GREAT homes in EXCELLENT school districts...where Families want to LIVE....Matt
